Essential Wedding Services

The most important part of any wedding day, especially your own, is that you have fun- and a lot of it. With our basic 'essentials' package we offer everything you'll need to have maximum fun and long lasting memories.

  • 2 x 1 hour live sets of a variety of party music
  • Perform your first dance song selected from our exisiting repertoire
  • DJ your first dance song if not in our repertoire
  • Pre-made party music playlist running through our PA before, between and after our live sets
  • Professional PA & lighting

Questions or concerns

From the moment you decide we’re the right band for you, your entertainment is in good hands. We’ll be in touch around 3 weeks before the big day to finalise the details, timings, song choices and any other queries you may have. In the run up to your wedding, you’ll also have a dedicated event coordinator from our agency, Alive Network. They will be more than happy to liaise with you on any additional issues, questions or concerns.

Arrival, set up and soundcheck

We'll turn up for your wedding on time at around 6pm. It can be arranged that we arrive earlier, however this will incur an additional small fee.

When we arrive, we'll immediately go and find venue staff or the wedding coordinator and then go to suss out the stage and performance area. Shortly after that we'll start bringing our equipment in and setting up. This can take between 1 hour and 1 1/2 hours in total.

Soundcheck is next. This is where we play a track or two at full volume to ensure our gear is all working and to get a good balance of drums, guitars, bass, keyboard, trumpet and vocals in the room we are performing in. If this is not suitable for your venue layout, we can set-up discreetly without the need for a soundcheck but please discuss with us beforehand.

*Please make sure you find out if your venue has a soundlimiter/decibel limiter installed and tell our agents before you book us!

First Dance

When the room is ready i.e. once all the guests are in the room and we are on stage, instruments in hand, you're toastmaster may annouce the first dance - if you don't have a toastmaster, we'll happily kick preceedings off.

The bride and groom take to the dance floor first and we'll play them a very special song.

The first dance song can be chosen from our existing repertoire at no extra cost, or you can choose that we learn a particular song for a small extra cost.

Once the first dance is over we welcome all the guests to the dance floor for the first set of live music.

1st live set

After the first dance, the first live set can begin. Usually starting around 9pm .

After one hour of intense dancing, it's time to give granny a sit down. We shall also have a short 45 minute interval for eats and refreshments.

Before we leave the stage we'll make sure our huge party playlist continues to play music through the PA so the keen dancers among you can keep partying!

If you've chosen our DJ upgrade option then one of us will be on hand to take requests from the playlist and make announcements using our microphones.

2nd live set & end of the night

Now, we hope you and your guests are ready for the final hour of live music that will blow the roof off the venue and draw your special day to a magnificent close.

After our hour is up and the encores have been played, the house music comes on (until the specified end time).

We'll head out into the crowd for a while to speak to the bride and groom and other guests before begining to pack away.

Packing down takes around 30-60 minutes. We'll say a final 'thanks' and be back on the road.
